State of the Neuse

The mission of Sound Rivers is to monitor and protect the Neuse and Tar-Pamlico River watersheds which covers nearly one quarter of North Carolina.

Sound Rivers Executive Director, Heather Deck, describes pollution issues impacting the Neuse River and shares ways citizen volunteers can become involved in the many programs offered to help preserve the health and beauty of the river basin.
