Red-Cockaded Woodpecker - Biology and Species Recovery Efforts

Federally listed as endangered, the Red-Cockaded Woodpecker has been the subject for recovery efforts by David Allen and others. David holds an MS in Wildlife Biology from Clemson University and has worked to increase the Red-Cockaded Woodpecker population. He discusses the origin, growth and behavior of these special birds, and shares his experience with the efforts to restore their population.
