BIRDING: How I Got Hooked!

Al Gamache is "totally into birds!" A birder for 53 years, Al will track his initial experience while living in Wisconsin, then take us on a birding adventure from California to Texas, "the two best states for birding".

A graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design and Tulane University in New Orleans, Al discovered birding while a faculty professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in the Art Department, as a sculptor specializing in two dimensional and three dimensional bronze casting.

Al's delightful slide show will bring us from Wisconsin, California and Texas to North Carolina where he set his sights on New Bern in 2002.

WARNING! You may want to run out to buy a Bird Book Field Guide after watching and listening to this lively and entertaining presentation.

Carolina Nature Coalition is pleased to bring this joy filled program to you.
