The New Craven County Curbside Recycling Program “What You Need to Know"

Many folks joined us for an informational presentation and discussion about the new Craven County Curbside Recycling Program that rolled out on October 7th 2019.

The presentation will took place on Wednesday, October 2nd, at the Harrison Center on Middle St. in New Bern.

Carol and Don Ostler review and explain the how’s and why’s of the evolution of the curbside program and the logistics of the new process while preparing for the roll-out the week of October 7th.

In addition, we discussed the current status of the recycling industry, the recycling of plastic film and foam, and ways to reduce consumption.

It was a great open discussion.
