Craven County Water System Plant Supervisor Elliot Thomas presented an overview
of the Department and the Operation.
Elliot is a native of the area and his experience in water systems totals 17 years with
more than 11 years at the county. His classifications include “A-Well” and “A-
Distribution”.
Elliot presentation included an overview of the Department, the status of the raw water sources,
and the process of making drinking water. In addition, he explained the annual
Consumer Confidence Report which every consumer should be aware.
Many questions were asked and answers delivered.
