About The Event

The Carolina Nature Coalition will present a comprehensive look at the ground water in Eastern North Carolina and the source of our drinking water here in Craven County.

Ground Water Management Associates, led by Dr. Richard Spruill, retired professor at East Carolina University, will be the presenter.

The program will consist of a look at the dynamics of the aquifers lying beneath our feet. Ground water is fascinating. Our experienced presenters will discuss the recent changes to the source of our drinking water and the potential threats to the source by chemicals such as GenX.

This will be a highly informative program led by experts. It is important that we understand about our water, the “key to life”.
