About The Event
Wouter Ketel, a retired Chief Park Ranger at the Cape Lookout National Seashore, NC, will talk about the effects that hurricanes have had on this National Seashore.
He has had a 34 plus year career with the National Park Service during which he worked in a variety of assignments from coast to coast, from Olympic National Park, WA to Morristown National Historical Park, NJ. Wouter is also the chair of the Outings Committee for the NC Sierra Club Croatan Group and leads many exciting outdoors environmental experiences.
Some Carolina Nature Coalition members will also talk about their experiences with several other National Parks that they have visited. There will be plenty of time for questions, comments and discussion.
